BranCore Technologies Wins Dominion Energy’s 6th Golf Tournament Benefiting the American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE)
BranCore Technologies is a prime supplier of Information Technology Services for Dominion Energy and I am proud to announce BranCore Technologies won 1st place at Dominion Energy’s 6th Golf Tournament with proceeds benefiting the Virginia Chapter of American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE), held at the Magnolia Green Golf Club in Mosley, VA on this past Friday, 8/4th. There were 100+ golfers playing in this tournament. The real winners are the 10 recipients who will receive scholarships between $3,000 – $5000 to go towards their tuition for the Universities they will be attending this Fall.
There is another major lesson in all of this. You don’t have to be a great golfer if you surround yourself around great people/golfers! Thanks so much to Lloyd Randolph, Don Coleman and Walter Smith. They did all of the hard work. They were awesome teammates. I am proud to say BranCore also won 1st place last year in this same tournament. This year we won with a final score of (-11) or a score of 61.
Also, thanks to Malesia Taylor for taking a picture with us as a part of the Dominion Team helping to organize this wonderful golf event! Donations were also given to Feed More (Greater Richmond Virginia’s Foodbank) on behalf of each sponsor. Our efforts will feed thousands of families in the Richmond area. Please know that BranCore is committed to making a difference in the lives of these precious young students. They are the future!
As an Applications Manager with Owens & Minor and, more recently, with PerotSystems. I have had an opportunity to work with Glenn in various capacities during the last 7 years.
