Commercial Job Title: Desktop Support IT Technician $39.66/hr

Minimum/General Experience:

2 years of related experience in desktop support. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Products. Installs, troubleshoots, services and repairs personal computers and associated peripheral devices in a fast paced enterprise environment.

Functional Responsibility:

Installs and configures PC software including agency developed applications. Connect personal computers and terminals to existing networks. Investigates user problems and makes recommendations regarding repairs and purchases. Assist in maintaining agency software and hardware inventory records. Works with Help Desk and Network Operations staff as appropriate to determine and resolve problems received from IT clients. Interact with numerous computer platforms in a multi-layered client server environment. Ensure desktop computers interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems including associated validation systems, file servers, email servers, computer conferencing systems, application servers, and administrative systems. 

Minimum Education:

Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of experience.
